Irish Ferries 2001 Classic Tour of Ireland.

Year 2001, we missed the 2000 Classic Tour of Ireland, hopefully, will see our second Classic Event in the MGA in Europe. In January 2001 we contacted Carol Corp and Mike Nixon to see if we could enter the MGA in this years renowned Classic tour of Ireland. The seven day Tour of Southern Ireland which included visits to Dublin, Killiney, Waterford, Kinsale, Killarney, Limerick and back to Dublin was set to take place during the first week of May.

This week was so selected because it was historically the driest month of the year; we hoped that it was not the driest month in IRELAND.

Being an Irish Tour; the saven day tour actually took 10 DAYS - would you expect anything less.

Again due to poor health we were unable to join the tour.  Perhaps next year?

 Many thanks to Carol and Mike a most enjoyable and very well organised Tour of Southern Ireland. We WILL go again!
