It was clear to me that replacing the battery cradles would required
specialist welding and cutting tools. With the help of my friends
Robin and Sharon (who live in Dover New Jersey), I was able to locate the
name and address of a local general engineer called Anthony Camillieri
of John Street, Morristown. With Tony's expert help and skilful welding
we were able to cut away the old battery cradles and weld back brand new
cradles. What should have taken 4 hours took nearly 6 hours to complete.
After undertaking this tedious job it was clear to me that I would have
found it very difficult to do on my own, even at my well equipped garage
at home in England. Thank you Tony.
