Data Communication's Services Project Manager initially with Contel
IPC, an American based Company in the UK. Latterly the company was
subject of a Management Buyout and renamed to Versys.
My duties and responsibilities were as follows: -

Selection of networking products,

Design of local and wide area networking solutions.

Providing costs and pricing as part of the overall bids and proposal process,

Selection of contractors and suppliers for network installation and,
-
Configuration and support of existing and new local and wide area networking
services to a base of UK and European customers.
(5 Staff reporting + Contractors).
Successes and Achievements: -

Selection, evaluation and introduction of a new range of UK manufactured,
remote managed, digital multiplexers.

Installation of 18 remote sites supporting over 100 users.
