Robin J. Allison's Personal Statement: -

I have been in the computer and communications industry for the past 35 years and have enjoyed every minute.  I have an inexhaustible appetite for technology and in its use to improve life.  After over 4½ years of living overseas I am now looking for an assignment based closer to home in the UK, either in the United Kingdom or Europe. I have no objection to working overseas, certainly I enjoy travel and the challenge of working in other countries and cultures, but I would like to spend more time with my wife and family.

Computers and computer systems have been my life for the past 35 years. At home, I have 5 computers systems running Win 95, OS/2 and NT 4.0, linked together over a 10/100baseT network using NetBEUI, IPX/SPX and TCP/IP protocols with shared Internet access via a router at 128 kb. The systems have a maximum of 512 Mbytes of RAM and offer 100 GBytes of hard drive storage between them. I have developed and, currently maintain and manage a number of web pages; "http://www.robin-allison.com/index.html", "http://www.netcomuk/co/uk~robin/index.html" and "http://www.netcomuk/co/uk~enl/index.html".
I also have my own domain server at "robin-allison.com " providing WEB access using Front Page and E-Mail using SMTP via an Exchange server.
